Every casino in our quiz pool goes through a structured verification process before it’s recommended to you. Here’s exactly what we do.
STEP 1 Initial Screening
We identify potential casinos from multiple sources: industry databases, competitor analysis, player communities, and affiliate networks. A casino enters our review pipeline when it meets these basic criteria:
- Accepts international English-speaking players
- Supports cryptocurrency deposits and/or withdrawals
- Has been operational for at least 12 months
- Has a public presence on at least one major review platform (Casino Guru or AskGamblers)
STEP 2 Trust Floor Verification
This is the most critical step. We check:
External Safety Rating
We pull the casino’s Safety Index from Casino Guru, which evaluates T&C fairness, complaint history, estimated revenue, licensing, and blacklist status. Our minimum threshold is 7.0/10.
Complaint Analysis
We review the casino’s complaint history on Casino Guru’s Complaint Resolution Center and AskGamblers’ AGCCS. We look for:
- Total black points relative to casino size
- Ratio of resolved vs. unresolved complaints
- Patterns of delayed withdrawals or confiscated winnings
- “No reaction” policies from the casino’s support team
License Check
We verify the casino’s gambling license through:
- Official casino footer and T&C pages
- Curaçao Gaming Authority registry (where applicable)
- Casino Guru’s license verification data
Operator Group Mapping
We identify which casinos share the same operator (e.g., Galaktika N.V., Globonet B.V., Pomadorro). This affects our diversity filter and helps us detect cross-brand risk patterns.
STEP 3 Data Collection
For casinos that pass the Trust Floor, we collect operational data:
- Payment methods — Which deposit and withdrawal methods are supported (crypto, card, e-wallet)
- Minimum deposits — The lowest available minimum across all methods
- Withdrawal speeds — Typical processing times for crypto and fiat separately
- Bonus terms — Welcome offer type, wagering requirements, max cashout limits
- Game providers — Count and identity of slot/game providers in the lobby
- Live casino — Availability and provider quality (Evolution, Pragmatic Live)
- Crash games — Availability of Aviator, Plinko, Mines, and proprietary originals
- VIP program — Structure, cashback rates, loyalty tiers
1. Official casino website (cashier, promotions, T&C pages)
2. Casino Guru detailed reviews
3. AskGamblers and LCB.org reviews
4. Owner expertise and market knowledge
STEP 4 Scoring
Each casino is rated on 7 axes (0–10 scale):
- Bonus Fit
- Withdrawal Fit
- Reputation Fit
- Game Variety Fit
- Live Casino Score
- Crash Games Score
- VIP Score
Scores are assigned based on collected data and calibrated against the full pool. See our Methodology page for the detailed scoring rubric.
STEP 5 Cross-Review
Before finalizing scores, we run a cross-review process:
- Initial scores are generated based on collected data
- Three independent AI models review the scores for consistency, bias, and gaps
- Discrepancies between external ratings (Casino Guru) and our internal scores are documented
- Owner corrections are applied where market expertise indicates a different assessment
- All corrections are noted with their source
STEP 6 Pre-Calculation
The scoring engine generates results for all 320 possible quiz answer combinations (5 × 4 × 4 × 4). Each combination produces a ranked list of 3 casinos with:
- Fit band (Strong / Good / Partial)
- Personalized “Why this casino” reasons
- “Important conditions” warnings
- Key stats (safety score, min deposit, payout speed, provider count)
Results are pre-calculated and stored as static JSON files. This means:
- No real-time API calls during the quiz
- Consistent results for the same answers
- Fast page load — no server-side computation
- Easy auditing of any specific recommendation
How Often We Update
| What | Frequency | Trigger |
|---|---|---|
| Trust Floor review | Quarterly | + after any major complaint event |
| Casino Data refresh | Monthly | + when a casino changes T&C or bonus |
| Scoring recalibration | After 500 completions | Based on click-through data |
| New casino additions | As needed | When a new casino meets Trust Floor |
| Casino removals | Immediately | When safety drops below 7.0 |
What We Don’t Test
To be transparent about our limitations:
- We don’t create accounts and play with real money at every casino. Our data comes from public sources and industry databases.
- We don’t test customer support response times firsthand. We rely on complaint data from Casino Guru and AskGamblers.
- We don’t verify RTP (Return to Player) percentages independently. We trust that providers certified by recognized testing labs deliver stated RTPs.
- We don’t provide legal advice about gambling regulations in your country.
